v0.1.18
In reviewHi,
Two nights ago, while testing Dualogues, I noticed another trackline sitting on top of mine. The panel looked different too. At first, I thought, maybe a bug.
Then I realized, maybe an experiment — a feature very similar to Dualogues, from ChatGPT itself.
If you're lucky enough, like I was, you may be included in this experiment. But as a developer, I felt a little differently. A little sad, and also a little validated.
So I'll keep building something I really want to use every day.
And this time, that means AI Answer Outlines. Keep it simple, just like the first version.
Dualogues turns long AI replies into outlines. Click any outline item, and you'll jump directly to the right place.
Sorry, for now it only works in Light Mode. I'll keep working on it.

v0.1.17
PublishedHey,
Just a small note. In mid-May, ChatGPT changed how its pages work under the hood. A lot of AI chat navigation tools suddenly broke.
This wasn't small for me. I often have dozens or even hundreds of rounds of conversations with AI. I needed something that actually works. So I decided to build one myself.
The first rule I wrote down was: non-intrusive. Dualogues starts with a quiet trackline — not a popup, not a sidebar, not a busy floating window. It sits at the edge of the page, following your scroll. You know it is there, but it won't steal your attention.
When you want to go back to a certain part of the conversation, or see the whole structure more clearly, just touch the trackline. It unfolds a clean list of questions. You can quickly find the right round, jump back with one click. No more endless scrolling.
You can also try these little buttons: previous round, next round, back to top. Or pin the panel - even then, it won't expand by default. One of my few virtues is restraint.
ChatGPT changed a ton of page logic this time, so getting the positioning, jumping, and scroll-sync were all trickier than expected. If anything still feels a bit buggy, thanks for understanding. If you like using it, I'll keep maintaining it.
One more thing: Dualogues is an indie project. It is not affiliated with OpenAI or any other AI platform, and it is not officially endorsed by them. I published it here because I needed it, maybe someone else is looking for it too.
Before release, I asked myself one question: If I could add only one more feature, what would I want most? I chose dark mode, and built it.
Same question for you: What would you pick? Let me know in the reviews.

Compact markers on the right edge of the page show conversation structure and density at a glance.
Hover a track line to open the panel. Browse all your questions without leaving the current scroll position.
Click any question to jump there. The page scrolls smoothly to the exact position.
Follows ChatGPT light and dark mode automatically. No configuration needed.
Make sure you are on a chatgpt.com page and have logged into ChatGPT. Dualogues only runs on the ChatGPT website.
The page needs at least one message you sent. If the conversation just opened, wait a few seconds for it to load.
Type chrome://settings/content/all in the address bar, find chatgpt.com, and click "Clear data". Or uninstall Dualogues — all extension data is removed automatically.
Dualogues reads your sent messages locally to generate short summaries for the panel. It does not read assistant responses or attachments. No data is sent to any server.
