By installing and using the Dualogues Chrome extension ("the Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Extension.

2. Description of Service

Dualogues is a browser extension that adds visual navigation aids to ChatGPT conversations. It provides track-line markers on the right side of the page and a sidebar panel for browsing and jumping to specific messages. The Extension runs entirely within your browser and does not communicate with any external server.

3. User Responsibilities

Dualogues is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with OpenAI or ChatGPT. You agree to use the Extension only in compliance with applicable laws and the terms of service of the websites on which it operates. You acknowledge that:

• The Extension is designed to work with ChatGPT (chatgpt.com) and may not function correctly on other websites.
• The Extension depends on the structure of the ChatGPT website, which may change without notice, causing the Extension to stop working partially or entirely.
• You are responsible for any data you choose to store locally through the Extension.

4. Intellectual Property

The Extension, including its code, design, icons, and associated visual elements, is the intellectual property of Dualogues. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the Extension without explicit written permission.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Extension is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The Extension will function uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
• The Extension will remain compatible with future versions of ChatGPT or Chrome.
• Any defects in the Extension will be corrected.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Dualogues shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Extension, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of productivity, or any other commercial or personal loss.

7. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it from your browser. Uninstalling the Extension removes all locally stored data. We reserve the right to discontinue the Extension at any time without prior notice.
